Located in Emeryville, CA, Trivium Games' Ghost Patrol escape room has won 12 awards since its opening in 2020—including six Top Escape Room Project Enthusiast's Choice Awards, four Best of Morty awards, A Golden Lock award, and an Achievement Unlocked award.

TOP ESCAPE ROOM PROJECT ENTHUSIAST'S CHOICE AWARD (TERPECA)

The Top Escape Rooms Project aims to identify the best escape rooms in the world. Each year, top rooms are voted on by enthusiast players, and winners are awarded the Enthusiasts' Choice Award. For 6 years running, Ghost Patrol has received this award and is ranked among the top escape rooms in the world. In 2025, Ghost Patrol ranked #5 in the U.S, and #57 worldwide.

BEST OF MORTY

Trivium has won a Best of Morty award every year since that award was created in 2022.  

Morty is a directory and review site for escape rooms, haunts, and other experiences. They describe these awards as, "...an attempt to harken back to the early days of the Michelin Guide, and award standout attractions that one simply must visit when in the area."

GOLDEN LOCK AWARD

The Room Escape Artist blog authors play and write about many escape rooms a year. Their Golden Lock Award highlights games that stand out above the rest. ​​In their 2022 review Matthew Stein writes, "Ghost Patrol was escape room puzzle design at its finest, and the experience was jam-packed with moments of utter delight and magic."

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED AWARD

Escape room review site EscapeRumors gives an Achievement Unlocked award to the top rooms they play each year.  When issuing this 2020 award, Reviewer Randy Hum writes, "If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, you should 100% play Trivium's Ghost Patrol. The game is accessible to all skill levels and is family friendly as well. The puzzle flow was world class and you'll have a blast!"
